This post is dedicated in memory of Etya Sarah bat Yitzchakha-Levi. May it be an aliyah for her neshama.
This short film about Esther's and Mordechai tombs in Iran is another confirmation of the Jewish survival in a time of oppression. The film refers to the historical significance of the Temple of Esther & Mordechai in the City of Hamedan. A non-Jewish Iranian filmmaker is in search of the Persian cultural heritage & mythology (story of Purim) relating to Esther, who is regarded as a savior of the Persian Jews. Today, the Iranian Jews are known as the children of Esther.
