San Remo Resolution, April 25, 1920

In San Remo, Italy, on April 25, 1920, the San Remo Resolution was adopted. Britain was charged with establishing a "national home for the Jewish people" in Palestine. The Middle East lands were divided and Israel was given to the Jews. The Arab world got the lion's share of the Middle East and complained that that was not enough for them.
